Each session to be hosted by TWO working writers and ONE TV Executive.

This 4-week TV Pitching Intensive is an exclusive program, with a heavy emphasis on pitching, that focuses on every aspect of writing a TV pilot. Each participant develops and strengthens the tools necessary to complete a strong television pilot writing sample. Each session of our 4-week program focuses on one aspect of this process, including:

  • Pitching your series idea
  • Pitching your pilot episode
  • Characters - Part 1: Main characters
  • Characters - Part 2: Supporting characters
  • Tone
  • World building
  • Teasers
  • Scenes
  • Final story pitch of each pilot episode

Participants adjust each of the above-mentioned layers, with strict deadlines and turnaround times, of their writing samples and pitches based on the feedback of the other participants within the group session, as well as that of the guest hosts.

Each session will have at least TWO writer hosts and ONE TV Executive. Writer hosts are currently working on such shows as THIS IS US, PITCH, REIGN, JUST ADD MAGIC, THE MIST and more. TV Executives will include RAGHAV TANDON (BLUMHOUSE PRODUCTIONS), KARA BUCKLEY (HBO), MICHAEL PETERSON (PHOENIX PICTURES), RAMZI ESSAID (WWE Studios) and other executives, managers, producers and agents. Check out our full list of HOSTS and SPECIAL GUESTS.
